Baseball Drawings

Each of the last four springs I've tried to help coach my son's Little League team. He's a great kid, smart and a good athlete. He catches on quickly and is always trying to do his best. What more could a dad/coach ask for?

Some of the guys don't quite get simple things like "baseball ready," "elbow up," "eye on the ball," or "balance over the rubber." I thought it might be good to show the guys pictures of my tired baseball cliches... maybe seeing what I'm talking about might help the idea take root.

Here are some of my favorite players showing some basic baseball concepts with style and flair. 

Note: I started these drawings in pencil, then highlighted the lines I needed in Sakura microns and in some cases colored them with Sakura brushes and water colored-style pens. I included some images of the ink drawings as well as the colored drawings when possible.
